Our story
They want what the big kids have.
We’re Nicholas and Anna Lang — parents to three girls, about 7, 4½, and 1, in Mount Prospect, Illinois. Most weeknights look the same: work, then the house, then the kids. It’s busy, loud, and we’re often running on fumes.
At the art table, the pattern never changes. The big ones pull out crayons. The little one reaches for the same sticks — every time. Mom ends up the referee: redirect, swap, watch the mouth, start over. Real crayons get chewed up and destroyed. Everyone’s tired of the tug-of-war.
Lang Family Co started there. We’re building cord-free silicone crayon teethers that look like what the big kids already have — oversized, one-piece, meant to live on the art table. Markers are next. Not clinical jewelry. Not another mystery Amazon multipack. Just a practical middle-class brand that gives mom a break and lets baby join in.
